Hey guys,

does anybody have ideas with refinancing a credit these days? My friend
bought a car on credit in 2007. They gave her a good interest rate, but the
credit was done in dollars (which at that time seemed a smart move). With
the rising dollar rate she is paying a lot more and if the dollar really
ends up at 50 Rubles one day (as projected by some of my analyst friends),
it would be a lot more money to pay back. She gets paid in Rubles and this
seems to become a problem for her already. I suggested re-financing, but I'm
not sure how that would work in the current crises situation. Did anybody do
it already? Do banks still offer consumer credits? Which is the best bank
and interest rate at the time being?
Another problem of course is, that it's risky in case the Ruble drops again.
What's your take on that 50 Rub prognosis?

I think I'll put the findings up on my blog later, so the info and feedback
is available for others as well. No worries, I'll not give any names or
personal info of you..

Thanks and greetings

Chris
