Never been to Buddies, and won't go, b/c I think that their "advertising strategy" is just abusive.
Turandot food is inedible, and the inside looks like something Donald Trump threw up, it genuinely looks like a cheesy Atlantic City casino imitation of a gourment restaurant. Had a shocker at Pushkin recently, went for breakfast and the tea cost 40 rubles. Swear to god, have the bill to prove it. $1 for tea!!! That, and I genuinely like their food. If you are willing to eat on the first floor the business lunch is a nice opportunity to sample Pushkin at less than 20 Euro. Much better than the badly aging Cafe des Artistes on Kamergersky. Personal fave, Correa's on Pyatnitzkaya and the one across from the Polish Embassy for dates (7 tables). Oh yeah, and at 300r, the business lunch at Pyramid (Pushkin Square) is a great deal (salad, soup, main, dessert). _______________________________________________ Expat mailing list [email protected] http://www.lists.ru/mailman/listinfo/expat http://www.expat.ru/forum/
