My family is planning a trip to France. Two of us have US passports but my
wife and her mother have Russian. They have previously received Shengen
visas (one year) three years ago from Italy. The French website says that we
should get previous Shengen visas annulled at the prior consulate(s) -
there's also a German Shengen visa in my wife's passport.

I am unclear if because we got the visas from the Italian consulate before
if we are to apply there again, or if we should get from French consulate
(since that is where we will go now.

Can anyone clarify this situation.
Thanks in advance for advice.
Charles
