I agree with the old classic soviet comedies that have been mentioned so far. They're great films that you can follow with lower intermediate Russian skills.
As far as contemporary films go, I would recommend Nikita Mikhailkov's 12. If you've seen or read he US versions of 12 Angry Men, you can easily follow along with this Russian adaptation. You'll also appreciate the Russian flavor that's added.
