Hi Olaf,

There is great school close to the Belarusian railway station, called
Master-driver. I took 10 classes on their cars and then 5 more on my own and
now, after having a driving license for almost 9 years, but never actually
driving before, I'm able to drive in this hectic and unpredictable city,
through all its traffic jams and do not have a heart attack and not getting
scared. They have very good instructors (both men and women!), fexible schedule
and a nice atmosphere.

Through the course they not only take you to the so-called "ploschadka" - an
ample free space where you can drive without any cars, but actually to the real
life - MKAD, Leningradka, river bank, Sadovoe, they can help you to learn your
most common routes (home-office, office-gym, gym-bar etc :-)) So, they take you
to the actual road that you will face sooner or later and teach you how to
survive there.

I'm quite enjoying driving now ;-) The only thing - dunno if they speak
English...

Here is the school address: http://www.master-driver.ru/

have a fun drive!

Natalia
