Jim and Expats. Bookhunter was bought-out over a year ago by Britannia at Pavelevskaya. They have the same inventory but Bookhunter is 4 times (as locals say) smaller than Britannia. If you want to see, touch and peruse most of their common inventory you will have a much higher probability of seeing it at Britannia rather than Bookhunter.
Best regards, George ************************************************************ 2010/3/19 Jim Kingston <[email protected]> Svieta, By far the best place for English language books is the shop called 'Bookhunter" close to Chisty Prudi. http://bookhunter.ru/.<http://bookhunter.ru/> Excellent selection, regularly updated, prices in roubles almost exactly the same as the USD or GBP price shown on the books. They will order for you whatever you want. Nice people as well. Strongly recommended. If you buy a lot regularly (like me) you will probably be offered, without even asking, a 5% discount. You can easily park nearby as well.
