Nick,

If it isn't too personal, I'm interested in know whether you've experienced any
concrete healing that you can definintely attribute to acupuncture?

I've been to the clinic you recommended twice and will go back tomorrow for
acupuncture. Also tomorrow I get my first supply of "tea". They told me I
would need to come for "at least 15" treatments and drink the tea "at least"
for four weeks. It turns out to be a signicant amount of time and money. They
tell me they need to treat my liver and nervous system, but I'm guessing that's
a standard diagnosis.

The thing is, I've read a lot on the Internet that says the effect of
acupuncture is largely "placebo" with no real proof that it heals anything.

If I thought it would help I wouldn't mind spending the money. But I'm having
some doubts about the benefit of all this. Would be interested in hearing your
insights, if you don't mind.

Thanks.

Beverly

Can anyone recommend a place that offers Chinese acupuncture?
