Hi Beverly Placebo is the least of your worries - some Chinese medicine can be extremely dangerous. Not picking on this place but there was a recent prosecution in the UK over the use of Aristolochia. Now banned in the UK it damages your liver - one woman is now on dialysis for the rest of her life.
