A friend of mine would like to go on a camping trip somewhere in the Moscow
region. He says in the U.S. one gets a permit in order to camp. Is a similar
system in place in Russia, or does one simply pitch a tent wherever one likes?
Anyone have any Russian camping experiences, good or bad, that you can share
along with advice and lessons learned? Recommendations on places to go are
welcome, but my friend especially needs to know how to stay within the relevant
law and regulations.
