John,

These classes are really good http://www.happymama.ru/about/index.shtml. I
took them about a month ago and cant be happier with the quality and
content. Each class is taught by a certified professional, either an
experienced OB/GYN, pediatrician or an infant massage therapist, if you miss
a session for whatever reason, they make sure to accommodate for a make-up
one. They have evening classes and have a number of various programs to fit
your needs.

I went to their central location on Krasnaya Presnya, and while it's not the
most glamorous setting, it is so worth it. And I know I'm not the only one
thinking this way, I actually saw people coming there to talk to the
instructors and to thank them for their help after they had their babies. I
definitely feel much more prepared and confident about the labor process and
taking care of my newborn (due in a month).

I'll be happy to answer any questions about this course.

Another option I heard about and did not experience personally is
http://www.mc-euromed.ru/birthing_centre/courses. More are listed here
http://www.baby.ru/company/moscow/pregnant_school/catalogue/?page=1, but
hardly any have web-sites.

I hope this was helpful.
Nadia
