They stand also almost daily by the mykovskaya tunnel turn around.. Same deal
but they have breath analyzers, or a doctor in the police car. If they smell
alcohol they give you the test..

It's very very profitable for them to catch even one person who had a big night
out and went to bed late. Your approach is correct, insist on doctor.. They
will never take you unless you really are still toasted. I'm surprised that
they don't have breath analyzers? And somewhat surprised they are stopping a
woman, usually businessmen, driving expensive cars yield better results for
them))

They found better hunting time at 8 am than at night when less and less people
take a chance even after one drink. People don't realize it takes ~ 8hrs to go
from 0.10 blood alcohol level to undetectable, and that's only a few Russian
50gr shots in 1 hour.

My unfortunate friends tell me the going rate is abt $2000 cash.. (But I find
that hard to imagine). I suspect they'd empty yr wallet quickly so not go miss
a more profitable stop passing by while you argue..

I was stopped recently, I had forgot ALL my docs, they made me blow the
analyzer, I passed and they sent me on my way! They wanted a drunk driver badly
(730 am near baumanskaya).
