Hi All I take my daughter to school each morning by car. Now I am a little fed up being stopped by the police early (8.00am) in the morning and being accused of drinking. I produce documents and they realise i am a foreigner. The accusations from the police are always the same, doesn't matter what officer stops me. You drinking ? Then its exhale in their face. They reiterate their accusation, where upon i become stanch and refute with many NO NO No No No ( that i repeat about 20 times) Then the invitation by the officers for me to go to doctor is met by me with... OK lets go to the doctor. Whereupon they say OK go. ! I then drive off, somewhat disturbed by the event. Can anybody say what is the procedure when met by a Russian police officer, where he or she forms an opinion that the driver of the vehicle is intoxicated. I do know that police officers are trying to do their job, sometimes in particularly difficult and dangerous situations. But on a school run in the morning is taking it a little too far in my opinion.
