Hello, I tested the 2.2.9-27mdk kernel update and here are my conclusions: The "/ umounting problem" is still there. It seems to fail less often than with 2.2.9-19mdk but it still occurs! So, i compiled the new 2.2.10 kernel and the problem seems to be definitly gone (i say 'seems' since i rebooted only 4-5 times with 2.2.10). The sound problem with kaudioserver persist with both kernel versions. kaudioserver leaves a core in the /root directorybut not in any user directory (?). The only difference between 2.2.9-19mdk and 2.2.27-mdk is that in 2.2.9-19mdk the core size was 0 and that with 2.2.9-27mdk and 2.2.10 it is around 300k. Ronan.
