Access_Log from webserver (ML 7.0 Apache 1.3.9 on same ethernet):
--Start

10.0.0.20 - - [20/Jan/2000:23:11:39 +0100] "GET
//mandrake/Mandrake/base/mdkinst_stage2.gz HTTP 1.0" 200 8361967

--End

The above is one line IRL.

I have tried different install methods "Recommended", "Expert" etc. I get
the same result. The program halts with the errormessage and then after
klicking OK it proceeds with the postinstall-config.

No packages are installed or available for selection.

Maybe it is a bad diskette? Dunno. Rawrite from the CD does not complain.
I have formatted the disk in windows and it did not report bad blocks.

Kind Regards,
Fredrik
