Has anyone gotten the VIA Technologies VT82C686_5 sound card working in Linux (mine works fine in MS Windows)? Sndconfig detects it as a VIA but tries to load sb.o and I get a "device or resource busy" even after I unloaded all the modlues with rmmod and have evn tried to compile support in the kernel - same error message except on boot. I tried forcing it to be a soundlblaster - there was no error, but no sound plays. Any suggestions?
