Here's what Axalon told me. I had it pretty close... Just
don't need the "B" in 256MB. :-)
So, the CORRECT syntax (as I gather from Axalon's
correction) is:
append='mem=256M'
In other words, I think you need to include the phrase
"append="

I'd test 'mem=256MB' for ya but well..
