Does anyone know if 7.1 has addressed the problem with the 2940U2W not being
able to properly detect my Seagate LVD drives connected to my 2940U2W? This
problem has kept my new PC acting as a doorstop for several weeks now while I've
searched for an answer to this problem. I've tried installing 'Drake 6.1 and
7.0, however I cannot get beyond the SCSI detection phase without getting errors
like:
scsi bus is being reset for host 0 channel 0
scsi host 0 ch 0 reset pid 0 timed out - trying harder
I end up in a loop at this point.
