OTAY,

So let's assume I have 5 computers
  comp A = firewall w/ 2 NIC's
  comp B = mail server
  comp C = web server
  comp D = workstation D
  comp E = workstation E

also assuming I have dsl modem and one hub

internet connection plugged into DSL modem.
DSL modem plugged into comp A (firewall)
Comp A thru E plugged into hub

if I register a domain name I give DNS information about
the IP addy assigned to my DSL modem.

The 64 thousand dollar question is ....
how does a query for a web page on my web server (comp C) make it
there
when all the DNS info is pointing to my DSL modem??

for that matter how does mail know to be directed to my mail server
(comp B)
when all the DNS info points to my DSL modem?

Not to worry folks I've got stupid server question #3 cooking now....

Thanks,

The box said,
"Requires Windows 3.x or better",
so I got Linux.
