Leo and list,
What I need to do is be able to capture both terminal and X-Windows screens
and be able to send them as an email attatchment.

I am taking a college course that requires me to send "snapshots" of
completed projects and the code for them to the instructor via email.
The instructions for the course are right to the point, "Press PrtScn key to
capture your work", HA! I press PrtScn and exactly nothing happens.
Typing the command "screen dump" brings back an error message and I can
find no documentation on my LM 7.1 system for "screendump".
XV seems to work pretty good for this but now I'm curious about the
"screendump" command - What - Where - Why and How.
TIA
