Hie I've been having problems printing true type fonts in Mandrake 7.2 After playing around with it, I got ghostscript to display the fonts correctly in ghostview. I realise now that CUPS uses its own renderer, and I have tried many times to get CUPS to print my fonts, I've added all the aliases for KWord in /usr/share/cups/pstoraster/Fontmap. Now atleast Zapf Chancery prints proplerly but no true types. I've tried copying the fonts to /usr/share/cups/fonts .. but then cups refuses to print altogether. So .. questions is ... where to from here .. how can I can cups to print using my fonts (ttf) ? TIA Ali p.s ... why can't i use a resolution of 1152x864 on X v4
