I have just purchased a Sony Vaio F630 notebook. It has Me on it and I guess it will have to stay as the modem seems to be a winmodem. My problems are that I can not get the sound to work at all. Harddrake complains of device or resource busy for anything I choose and I don't seem to have sndconfig installed. Also I can not get the Video to work quite correctly. The video is a Trident CyberBlade i7 3D Graphic accelerator w/shared mem. the Sound is ESS (I forget the rest of it off-hand) Can anyone help in getting video correct on here. Choosing CyberBlade will not work. And when I set the monitor to lcd panel 1024, X complains of some- thing but I forget what. Any help appreciated, Brian D.
