Please do not use html in your messages. I use a mail client that only 
displays plain text, so all your html formatting just looks like 
gobbledygook to me, and makes it very difficult to read.

That said...

I also use dhcp on my laptop. In this case, all you need to do is add 
the line:
        127.0.0.1       myhost.mydomain.com     myhost

to your /etc/hosts file. The 127.0.0.1 IP address is assigned to 
"localhost" by default, but it can also be given to your actual host 
and domain name.

Your dhcp client daemon will also automatically add an entry with your 
current IP address and host name. If you see it there, leave it. If 
not, don't worry about it.
