Dear Stephen: Welcome aboard! By the way, you can download a file of extra pallette textures for your Setup, Palette. Go to the http://www.xfce.org home page and look for the file somewhere at the bottom of the page. It is in tar.gz format. But very easy to install. Just copy it to /usr/share/xfce And now untar it: tar -xzf xxxxx.tar.gz That's it. No need to do another thing. Open up your Setup, Palette and you'll see the new textures under Argon-abc, Argon-cde, etc. I personally like to use the Toulouse images under backdrop. Click with your mouse on the desktop, choose backdrop and you'll find four lovely pictures of Toulouse, France.
