I assume apps are missing in KDE?? Me too.. :( I found menudrake but it did nothing.. This sucks pretty bad. Thats 1 thing. My 8.1 beta doesn't like to shutdown. Hangs on shutdown. Gnome seems fine. I got menu applications.. But it's not helix(ximian) gnome which is much better.. ( not mdk's fault ). Install was nice.
