Heh, this depends upon your connection. How do you connect to the internet? Modem? Lan?
Modem connections normally require smaller MTU sizes. PPOE may require an odd-ball size... Such as 1450 You'll also find that getting this right greatly affects the speed of your internet connection. It's important because the MTU size determines how packets are "cut up" when sent over the internet. A smaller size means that there are more packets, which may be taking various routes to get to you. That is they all may not be arriving at the same time or the same way. Larger ones are good for fast connections, etc. -JMS |-----Original Message----- |From: Michael Dannhorn [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] |Sent: Monday, October 22, 2001 1:08 PM |To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] |Subject: Re: [expert] download not finishing | | |Hi, | |I have this problems since I installed LM 8.1.
