Hi,

Using a default Linux kernel that comes with a fresh install of Mandrake 8.1
what do I need to modify to stop the system from disabling the sound when the
PC goes into "sleep mode"?

Right now, using Window Maker, I have no applications running other than
XMMS playing mp3 files from a hard disk on the machine. After no
mouse/keyboard/network activity the system goes into screensaver mode (XMMS
still plays) and then a short while later the system stops everything
(including XMMS) until I move the mouse or touch a key.

How do I disable this unwanted activity so as to have the system continue to
play mp3 files and the screensaver still working?

        Thanks.
