Hmmm, What's the license on that tarball? If it is GPL or equivalent, it might be possible to build an rpm to drive the fake modem and include it. Hmmm, BSD-style license on the source but three binaries without source. Strange this was compiled on Mandrake8.0 with gcc 2.96 originally, according to the intel engineer's notes. Possibly you are missing a library, or it has been updated and renamed. Let's see the error messages. Civileme
