Hi , I have been looking for info on how to run two or more versions of mandrake
I read a post on partition layout and such, and other things on doing this , though It's confusing the different ways to do this I've found. What i would like to ask now is this: I have three drives WD, WD, Maxtor - hda = windows ( win98se ) hdc = / , swap, /home ( LM 8.0 ext2) hdd = /backup ( also ext2 ) sizes are 6 gig, 10 gig, 20gig respectively. I would like to be able to install 8.1 and or 8.2 and would Like to know how to lay it out , for instance can I put test partitions on hdd = /backup ( 20 gig 11 free ) without breaking the original 8.0 install ( as I have everything running perfectly ) How would I do this , what would I need to share If anything, and can this actually be done with this configuration?
