Ahh... I'm sorry. I have installed (rpm -ivh) libpng3 however, and for the most part, it seems to do just fine along side libpng2. I did do an install recently which I used rpm -Uvh and it did mess quite a bit up. I don't know if that helps, but I think until mdk 8.2 (8.3?) hits the shelves, we're going to be stuck doing these kinds of workarounds.
