I have a Micron Transport GX+ laptop. In mandrake 8, 8.1, 8.2B2 and 8.2B3, X freezes frequently - usually when opening a new window or significantly updating an existing one.
Is there some magic laptop-related thing I should be doing? I seem to remember in Mandrake 8 beta releases, I could not install from CD - I had to boot off of an alternate pcmcia image. Needless to say, this makes my laptop unusable. TIA, -Mark -- Mark Belanger LTX Corporation
