i've a question here. i've got an old 500mb quentum maverick, and i just can't boot my machine when it's plugged in. i wanted to use it as a backup for a few personal files.... how would be the command to disable DMA in that single drive? would something like adding "/dev/hdd=nodma" ok? thanks!
