I am using a K7T Turbo Motherboard with a Maxtor 7200 RPM Harddrive and am using the proper ide cable. Both support ATA100/UDMA5. When I load Linux it ackowledges this, but sets the performance to UDMA33. Playing around with hdparm does nothing, the harddrive stays stuck at UDMA2. Does anyone know how to fix this???
