I'm running ML 8.2. I notice that there was an announcement a while back
that Mandrake had an RPM available to that brings it into LSB 1.2
compliance. I never installed the LSB package that's on the CDs, but I'm
considering installing this package since I know that LSB is supposed to be
some kind of filesystem layout standard for Linux machines. Has anyone
here installed the LSB package(s) on their system? From those people, what
I would like to know is:

1) What will it do to my filesystem layout?

2) What are the pros of doing this, if any?

3) What are the cons, if any?

4) Any other comments you'd care to make about it.

5) Please don't just tell me to go to the LSB website. I've already been
there, and the information they provide (that I could find) didn't make a
lot of sense to me, which is why I'm asking here. :-)

TIA!
