Hi All, I have two system both MDK 8.1. I generally use webmail to administer them both. However the module 'fdisk' to view all the disk info on each machine does not work on one box. I have tracked the problem down to the webmin module checking '/proc/partitions'. it pulls out the data like: '/dev/ide/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/disc' which it then does a 'fdisk -l' but on this machine, the '/dev/ide' does not exist.
Has anyone any ideas, I looked at the lilo.conf file, the only diff between the machine that is ok and the dodgy one is that the dodgy one has the 'quiet' option in the 'append='. Does anyone know the reason, or how I can rectify this. TIA David
