'Mandrake Linux 9.0 beta' hi I was wondering if maybe you can support vendor specific external hardwares for Mandrake Linux 9, paritularly those products of Logitec. I have an external HD and a CD-R/DVD ROM.
It wasn't supported on Mandrake 8.2, and I received an email suggesting that I recompile the kernel with a modification with some header files that was provided. I'm a newbie with the Linux environment so the thought of recompiling a kernel scared me. thanks! and Good Luck with ML9! Gerard G.
