I'm having all sorts of problems with a P233 with an Adaptec 1542.
I also had problems when it had a 1522, and hoped the newer card would
fix them. I haven't given up trying ideas yet, and am not totally
convinced that the SCSI card is the cause of my problems (but removing
it is not an option, since I am trying to load the system onto an
attached disk).

Brian.

Hi Chris. I've got an Adaptec 2930... Has anyone had problems with it as
well? 9.0 should be here soon.
