Yes but I'm not THAT current... meaning I'm on everything from 9.0 back to 7.2 (SNF and a webserver) Making the above change results in the following. modprobe: Can't locate module serial modprobe: Can't locate module serial Please wait while probing serial ports... rmmod: module parport_probe is not loaded rmmod: module parport_probe is not loaded So .... If I'm correct the modprobe is no longer needed by the hardrake2 for 9.0 the question would be (for my info mostly) what is the rmmod there for? Meaning is it supposed to do something specific... if so do you know what... Since I'm no super coder ... mostly super fumbling through the code. I'm trying to check things out and get a feel for what is under the hood a little bit.
