Don't know, I never tried it because I have only 1 PC with linux, but I think only apps with many processes could benefit from it. Are you subscribed to the Openmosix mailing list? Ask them examples about apps which benefit from load balancing. Another choice is Beowulf, which supports (I'm not sure about this) MPI. Olaf
