I'm not sure why the realplayer plugin isn't working, but I have never
liked it anyway. Try xine with the xine mozilla plugin.

The rpm puts the plugin in /usr/lib/xine-plugin/xine-plugin.so. Just
copy this file to the mozilla plugin directory and you will have
quicktime, windows media player, and real media player file support.
Plus, the sound quality is incredible.
