Try this Gary;

Open a terminal, navigate to the directory where the ISOs and .asc file 
are. At the command prompt type this:

md5sum -c 9.2rc2.md5sums.asc <enter>

You won't see much until it's done a disk but the processor will 
"grunt." A LOT. <g>
