I found this site:

http://koala.ilog.fr/cgi-bin/nph-colas-modelines

apparently, the max I can get for vsync at my desired res (1280x960) is
60 Hz.

The stumbling block *appears* to be that my dot-clock is only 108.

I have a Samsung 955DF and a GeForce4 Ti, but these are the maxes I can
apparently get, which seems strange to me.

  ModeLine "1168x876" 106.62 1168 1216 1456 1552 876 878 890 916 #75Hz
  ModeLine "1176x882" 107.80 1176 1232 1512 1624 882 884 896 922 #72Hz
  ModeLine "1184x888" 107.52 1184 1240 1520 1632 888 890 902 928 #71Hz
  ModeLine "1192x894" 107.22 1192 1248 1528 1640 894 896 908 934 #70Hz

Now, I installed the GF4 *after* having MDK already installed, is it
possible that the dot-clock number provided by xvidtune is incorrect or
can be changed?
