I don't know kppp, but in the interests of any answer being better than none... Have you checked that it's using tone dialing rather than pulse dialing? Pulse dialing would cause the modem to click, and it may not work on modern exchanges. modem strings: ATDT - tone ATDP - pulse ATD - use default configuration -- Richard Urwin
