but whats speaking against that is that if i re-install X, the XFree86
binary is still not there. well, here is what i did, perhaps someone can tell me if that was good and

rpm -e XFree86 urpmi XFree86
That sounds pretty much like a adore compromised system. After reinstalling, the binaries have to be there. If you cant find them, somthiong is hiding them.
Get chkrootkit, compile it, and run chkproc. I guess, you will get: Siginvisible Adore found.
$ urpmq --sources chkrootkit file://contrib/i586/chkrootkit-0.41-1mdk.i586.rpm
chkrootkit is in contrib/ You can add a contrib source with urpmi.setup or here:
