Thanks Artemio, I have found ESMTP - a send only program, with it I can send email using my ISP's smtp without having to install a full-fledge mail server. Also, I put the command: ifconfig | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] at the end of the firewall script which is fired up by /etc/ppp/ip-up.local script. This is wonderful. - -- Fajar http://linux.arinet.org Linux mdk91.sistek.kom 2.4.21-0.13mdk GNU/Linux 16:34:49 up 8:59, 10 users, load average: 0.25, 0.43, 0.62 Quote of the day: NT (as in Windows NT) is short for "Nasty Technology". -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.1 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE/sK3sMai9kCFqACoRAs9xAKC6dTcZXJHtX4zC7p1IcW6ogsj65gCgmsJU lrI1dCei+kAQG/fbrfSjDV4= =9Q7B -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
