Okay, a little math...Heartland Park's website lists the Runoffs course as 2.5
miles. 2.5 times 25 cars per mile is 63 cars. Am I missing something?
Second, nothing prevents the classes petitioning for split qualifying. Happens
every year.

qualifying sessions are combined with formula fords? How can either group be
happy with that? A quick check of past runoffs results shows an average of over
30 cars in F500 and very close to 30 cars in FF. Isn't there a limit of 25 cars
per mile?
ATTENTION SCCA: DO A LITTLE MATH!
How is anybody going to get a clean lap in that crowd?
Seems to be time for the natives to get restless.
