I down loaded the file factor-winnt-x86-32-2008-07-01-15-49.zip and installed it in C:\. Switched to the newly created C:\factor and double clicked in factor.exe. As a result I got the error message:
The procedure entry point ActiveVectoredExceptionHandler could not be located in the dynamic link library kernal32.dll Then nothing. This under W2k.
