One awesome thing about Factor is its rich library.

It seems like any public version of Forth doesn't come close to offering
the functionality of the Factor vocabulary.

Considering only Turing completeness, it should be possible to implement
most of  Factor on top of an existing Forth.

Wondering why the core Factor language was implemented with a compiler
written in C.

Why not implement Factor on top of an existing Forth?

It's not a criticism.  Just trying to learn.

I appreciate that those who got Factor to where it is have a much deeper
understanding of computing than I do.
