No, openssl worked with sha1 before my intervention, and whatever I added to it is pulled into master already.
I made an ugly fix with some randomized unit tests. I'm pretty confident that it's correct now.In the future, please make bug reports on the github issues instead of the mailing list so I don't end up spamming everyone when my fixes are incorrect and I have to keep updating you on the status. :)
: ) OK, I will. Sorry for the upheaval, I only wanted to make sure the bug is not only in my codebase, but also seen by others.
As I said, I'm not on the top of the master branch at the moment.
