I've got some questions about the mail/sendmail actions:

1) In jail.conf, the various action shortcuts include the following:

        Action_mw:

                %(mta)s-whois[name=%(__name__)s, dest="%(destemail)s",
protocol="%(protocol)s", chain="%(chain)s"]

        Action_mwl:

                %(mta)s-whois-lines[name=%(__name__)s, dest="%(destemail)s",
logpath=%(logpath)s, chain="%(chain)s"]

I presume the [.] syntax is a way of defining values which are locally
significant within the action.  Correct?

2) I don't understand why "protocol" and "chain" are being passed/defined
for the mail actions since they are never referenced within the
(send)mail-whois.conf or (send)mail-whois-lines.conf files. Please explain.

3) I'd like to include in the email the value of <HOST> as matched in the
filter failregex. But all of the (send)mail actions include only <ip>. How
do I also include whatever was matched with <HOST>?

Thanks much,

Michael
