If that loopy web site of his, where he claims all sorts of esoteric 
knowledge and describes his battles with demons and bestows the lofty 
title of Viswamitra (one of the great sages of Vedic lore) on 
himself, does not convince you he's flipped out, well, you are 
certainly entitled to an opinion until you finish the recert course, 
but being a clever software programmer does not mean somebody is not 
otherwise nuts. There are currently several books out about the 
relationship at Princeton between Kurt Godel and Einstein. Godel was 
a brilliant logician, but stark raving mad, which is why Princeton 
took many years before they finally granted him tenure. One of 
Godel's obsessions was that his refrigerator was poisoning him -- to 
humor him, Einstein took out a patent on a refrigerator design that
